There is NO FEE to ride this year — but we are strongly encouraging all participants to make a donation when they register.
Your donation directly supports the Brenner Children's Mental Health Fund, helping children and families access the care and resources they need. Whether you give $5, $25, or more, every dollar makes a difference.
Pedal for a Purpose: Cycling Promotes Mental and Physical Wellness!
Mayhem Cycling and CyclePaths of Greensboro, in collaboration with the RJ Strong Foundation, proudly present the 4th Annual Pedaling for Mental Health Bike Ride—a community-centered event held during Mental Health Awareness Month.
We're inviting adults and youth aged 12 and up—especially students, teachers, healthcare workers, and essential workers—to join us in this empowering ride for a cause.
What Makes This Ride Special?
Noncompetitive routes for all skill levels:
20K (approx. 12 miles) – Perfect for beginners or leisurely riders
50K (approx. 30 miles) – A moderate challenge
100K (approx. 60 miles) – A rewarding route for experienced cyclists
Time-trial style start for comfort and safety
SAG (Support and Gear) vehicles patrolling the clearly marked routes
Well-stocked rest stops for hydration and refueling

We’re finalizing our updated routes to ensure the safest and most scenic ride experience for everyone.
Official 20K, 50K, and 100K routes will be uploaded here as soon as they're confirmed, including maps, cue sheets, and GPX files.

Cycling Safety Tips
Helmet and proper gear required
Protect your head and wear comfortable, weather-appropriate cycling attire and shoes.
Hydrate and fuel throughout the ride
Drink plenty of water or electrolyte drinks and bring snacks to keep your energy up.
Use hand signals and ride alert
Stay aware of your surroundings, communicate clearly, and ride responsibly.
Stretch before, after, and at rest stops
Stretch your quads, hamstrings, calves, and lower back to stay loose and prevent cramps.
Smile — it makes every mile lighter!
