The COVID-19 pandemic has been challenging for historic sites and non-profits, and Oakland Cemetery is no exception. Since the middle of March, Historic Oakland Foundation has been unable to hold events and tours, and has had to close the Visitors Center to the public. This has majorly impacted our ability to generate the revenue that is desperatly needed to maintain the cemetery.
We are proud that we have been able to keep Oakland open as a public green space and important community resource throughout the pandemic, but we need your help. Historic Oakland Foundation's mission is to preserve, restore, enhance, and share Oakland Cemetery, and we depend upon your support to keep Oakland beautiful and accessible for all.
